I used to tease that there is no culture in LA. However, I slowly started to discover how wrong I was.
The source of my mistake might have been my narrow definition of art. Before I finally gave in to art in LA, I only regarded things that endured ages of appreciation as art. By this line of logic, Renaissance paintings, Roman sculptures, and old piano sheets were considered art, but not so much something like contemporary paintings or graffiti.
Then LA slowly converted me. Even though I am still not a huge fan of contemporary art, I started to find art in things that are more of novelties.
Today, I want to share with you some of the art in LA. They may come in different shades but you gonna appreciate the innovative minds behind all these art. Enjoy!
BTW, I don't think I ever mentioned that I live in LA. Now you know!

Some modern art that I was able to understand a bit. This painting is called the red room or something along that line. @Broad Musuem
